a birthday celebration at work today was the perfect excuse for a doughnut feast! overwhelmed with too many delicious options, i might have held up the line for a bit at the doughnut plant…i finally made my picks and left with two boxes of…

hazelnut, crème brûlée (photographed below), coconut cream, blackout, wild blueberry, oatmeal cake, valrhona chocolate, vanilla bean, and their specially designed square-shaped jelly-filled doughnut with peanut butter glaze.

my favorites: hazelnut and crème brûlée…the hazelnut was topped with crunchy hazelnuts, and you can even taste the hazelnuts infused in the dough. as for the crème brûlée, it’s filled with a rich creamy custard, and topped with a hard shell of carmelized sugar.
